Once upon a time there was a mom who had twin babies.  I found myself attending baby showers every weekend and welcoming so many wonderful babies into my friends' lives that I was constantly at the store buying baby gifts.  I remembered the great burp cloths a friend had made for me when I was pregnant and began creating burp cloths of my own. 

After many requests from friends to sell my burp cloths, I started a business called Burpbees (thanks to my sister-in-law for figuring out the business name!).  By this time the twins were 3 years old.  I also needed a creative outlet and something to keep my mind sharper than Sesame Street could. 

I started selling my burp cloths at fairs and to friends.  Then I graduated to a website that is always in progress.   Along the way, new items like bibs and one-pieces have been added.  As the twins have grown, so have their friends.  Gift ideas like aprons, tote bags and t-shirts are part of the new Burpbees.
